Event Name: Brass Solo

General Category Guidelines:
Please be advised these sections are based first on grade, then age. For example, if a section comprises students in Grade 3 between ages 10-13, they are considered to be of the same playing standard and may compete together.
The Eisteddfod Team will endeavour to group similar ages together where possible.
Eisteddfod grades are based upon grade levels of the Australian Music Examinations Board (A.M.E.B.) Performers may select their grade level from Grade 1 – Grade 8.
When selecting your Grade (if you do not play traditional grade exams), it can often be found on the music or you can search online for the difficulty of the piece.
If you are having trouble determining the Grade of the music, please feel free to contact the Eisteddfod Team for assistance.
